Maggie Woods, MotorBar

"4Bitten's No More Sins is an uplifting and vibrant offering of a very eclectic style with lovely vocals and harmonies... If this is sinful, bring on the Sin!" - Maggie Woods, MotorBar

Steve Green, Live 4 Metal

"...the more I hear her voice, the better I think she sounds... this album is a refreshing distraction from the norm and it's an album that comes highly recommended to fan's of 80's Hard Rock." - Steve Green, Live 4 Metal

Avril Sinister, RoomThirteen

"From the explosive opening of 'Lightning Crashing' and it's simple but effective riffing, it's obvious that 4 Bitten have something special... with the cross-continent explosion of new, young blues-rock bands making it big in the charts; just think of The Answer or Black Stone Cherry, and 4Bitten fit in easily to that group. 4Bitten's vocalist has more in common with Janis Joplin, than most singers on the live circuit today. David Coverdale is about to have a run for his money... this album is a strong start in a difficult genre." - Avril Sinister, RoomThirteen

Rushonrock

"...a bluesy, ballsy, breezy little album... It's called No More Sins and it's by the potentially brilliant 4Bitten... it will finally announce powerful lead singer Fofi to the masses - and we reckon the masses might just be impressed." - Rushonrock

Phil Roach, Amplified

"To my mind, the infectious "Tell Me" would make an ideal single... 4Bitten have the potential to be around for a long time, this is an album with plenty of style and lots of substance... definitely woth getting an earful." - Phil Roach, Amplified

RUSHONROCK WEBZINE:

But then a bluesy, ballsy, breezy little album landed on the rushonrock decks and suddenly we're humming along to tracks crafted in Athens, polished in new York and ready to rip up live stages across the UK this spring. It's called No More Sins and it's by the potentially brilliant 4Bitten.

The great news for us North East rockers is that the former covers band tuned original classic rockers are heading our way in support of the funk rock master himself Dan Reed. Yep, shorn of his Network, one of the smoothest operators in rock returns to Tyneside on April 29 for what promises to be a mouthwatering gig at Trillians. And he's bringing 4Bitten along for the ride.

Now before you all get too excited (all three of you) the impressive No More Sins (and don't mention sins when Self Made Man's within earshot) isn't actually available over here until nine days before that Newcastle show. Out on April 20 via Rocksector Records it will finally announce powerful lead singer and keys maiden Fofi to the masses - and we reckon the masses might just be impressed. Citing their influences as Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Thunder and ZZ Top you can see where 4Bitten are coming from. But their carefully crafted debut is no rip off of the above. What it is is worth a shot.

SEA OF TRANQUILITY WEBZINE:

No More Sins is the hugely promising debut album from this female fronted American/Greek blues rockers who are based out of Athens and have recently made their live debut in the UK ahead of more dates supporting Dan Reed in the very near future. Vocalist Fofi was born and raised in Iowa before returning to her parents native country eight years ago and starting out in a blues covers band playing the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joplin and Hendrix. Her voice makes an immediate impression on the solid grooves of "Lightnin' Crashing", the song further bolstered by some fiery riffs from guitarist George. There is plenty going on here and the soulful "Believe" offers a nice contrast and sets the scene for an album that is full of twists and turns and showcases a variety of influences and styles and 4Bitten are evidently a band who are not afraid to mix things up and not be pigeonholed into any particular genre.

THE BOLTON NEWSPAPER:

"No More Sins" is a rocky bluesy set of songs showing off the band's blossoming talents along with their influences; which include Whitesnake, Joplin, Hendrix, Deep Purple and Thunder.

Well produced with a hard edge, these guys deserve watching.

MTKU METALZINE:

"Lightnin' Crashing" has a nice funky bass line to it and adds some head banging action to things before singer Fofi comes in with a voice that is both soulful and sassy. She instantly impresses and suggests she has a range to her that is going to interestingly unfold as the album progresses.

Nice bit of smoky jazz comes into the lounge like delivery of "Believe" and I instantly feel chilled by a great ballad with sudden Chilli Peppers etched funk breaks to it. Occasionally they do go for that tried and tested trick of repeating the lyrics over and over ad-infinitum as on "Follow" I can find this annoying to a certain extent as it is impossible to shift the song out your head for the rest of the day. That said it has the scope to make a dynamite commercially acceptable single by doing so.

You have an obligatory story-telling number Rock n' Roll Dream complete with scorching guitar solo, the upbeat funkathon "Push It To The Limits" and another of those hammer the chorus into your head numbers "In The Shadows". There is plenty going on to keep the interest levels up over these ten songs that's for sure. Everything here is damn catchy when it comes down to it and although I simply have very little time for the rock genre this album has really hit the mark and won me over.
